New Kimberly Blog: Beautiful Movements

LIFE IS ART.

Regret is a powerful word and could gain complete control over you and your life if you don’t take steps to relieve yourself of these feelings. Living in your past and not letting go of situations will only take away from living in the present moment. Everything happens for a reason and regrets happen when you fail to see the lessons.

Painful memories serve a purpose to gain knowledge. We will all fall on our faces throughout our lives. But in these fragile moments in time we are able to find answers for personal growth. Use your emotions wisely you are the ruler of your own world. If you don’t like something from your past change it for your future.

Change is necessary in order to create the life you’ve always dreamed of. Discovering truth of our inner being will propel us into living out our bigger purpose. When you are aware of what your bigger purpose is then you will never take anything for granted. Every step you have endured serves the purpose of meeting your true self.

When I’m painting I give myself one rule, “Nothing is a mistake”. When paint goes where I didn’t plan for it to go I step back and understand that that brush stroke was in the plan, I just hadn’t realized it yet. Just like art, life is abstract, it’s better to move with the brushstrokes then look failure in the eyes. Mistakes are the building blocks for a beautiful canvas.
